How do Comics know if the leads that are posted have already been filled?
ComicsForHire.com sends out emails every 7 days to the bookers (requesters)
with a easy to follow link to mark the lead as booked and enter in who they
booked.
When we speak to the bookers on the phone, during the initial pre-qualification
call, we give them a heads up that these emails will be coming and ask for
them to please do their part to answer. We basically ask "Our service
is free to you, all that we ask is that you do inform us once the lead is
booked.
We send
out a follow-up email with a link that you can follow and/or a 800
number to call so you can easily tell us if the lead is booked. It
helps save everyone time and aggravation."
We also have mechanisms that automatically update the database and remove
leads from the "available" list
when the lead response deadline passes, or the response limit is hit (i.e.
if bookers would like to hear from only 4 comics).
If you have purchased a lead you can still view the contact info even if the deadline passes or response limit is met.
Once the lead is marked as booked you can still view it for 30 days if not your clients. Indefinitely if it is one of yours.
